"guides people towards good" =/= being great. I'd betcha you compare the Christian parts of Africa to the Islamic parts and you'll find a noticeable discrepancy frendo :^)
Notice you already have 2 downvotes. Christians on Voat seem to be incapable of having a logical debate. Most have little academic knowledge of their religion, they just follow the (((Bible))) and whatever their pastor tells them. They will spend 10hrs a day researching some Jew conspiracy theory, but won't take 10 minutes to learn about the history of early Christianity. You will constantly be accused of being a Jew shill. The irony is that most of them complain about being discriminated against on Reddit, but when they come here, they act just like the people they left. So much for turn the other cheek, amirite?

African states that adopted it probably are better for being Christian, yes.
Mexico is more of an interesting case - as Christianity so dramatically changed things there. But it got rid of human sacrifice.
