As it says there should not be ANY moderators. The users in /v/thedonald should have NO ability to decide for me what I can and can not see. that goes against free speech.
Listen to me, home of the /qrv/ community and masters of digging up dirt on pedos and dems: there is SO MUCH EVIDENCE that the powers that come with being a mod on reddit corrupt ABSOLUTELY. Time and time again the moderators on reddit have fucked things up by making bad decisions and being corrupted. It is so provable it is provable in a court of law.
If you LOVE free speech you should agree with me that mods should not be able to curate what is able to be said. Our votes can do that for us.

Zero moderation turns communities to trash. Closed arbitrary moderation makes communities stifled.

Moderators are like Borders, everyone should have their own.
Moderators are also sort of like a government, everyone should have one of their own.
The problem comes when you have moderators that don't belong to the community they moderate.
We don't have governments of our own, nor do we have our borders either. those both currently belong to hostile outsiders and they are acting accordingly. Our only hope is to have moderators that come from among us.

If moderation is absolutely necessary then we should be able to vote for who moderates and who does not.

Amen. But how could we avoid 100,000 fake votes from deep state actors?

There is definitely a need for moderators since some people cannot moderate themselves. Little kids wanting to just say cuss words and giggle are not a discussion board but a child's playground.

Then SBBH would all just leave. Nothing to spoil or annoy anymore...

There aren't, there are only idiotic faggots who keep going to some shit /v/ instead of just starting their own where they automatically are the moderator.
Imagine being such a homo. KYS.

It's not a default sub. Sub owners should be allowed to manage their subs however they want.

Except that is the exact title voat uses for the person who controls a sub.

Mods are janitors here. There are a couple mods here who have not figured that out. Instead of banning the users we just block or ignore those subs. If there isn't a free speech alternative to the_donald already then I'm sure one will pop up before long.

The new rules that are expected to be forthcoming, from what I saw during the secret rules committee meetings at the voat preview web page, is that moderators will be able to be voted out of their moderating position (even owner) by a vote of the goat population.
And bans etc will require votes.
The details are largely unknown, but we may see these new rules and procedures published soon. OP should keep a patient watch for them.
