That bozo doesn't know what he's talking about. Cardio is key especially if u get into a scrape that turns into a wrestling match. If u run out of steam you're cooked. I've fought muscle bound meatheads that had no wind & made quick work outta em back in the day.

Cardio has definitely gotten me to outlast an aggressor. Unfortunately, I've rarely managed to land a worthwhile punch. Usually if I've managed to end the fight on my terms it was with a throw. Just for once I'd like to turn out the lights :-) These days though, I don't know what would happen. Been a while since I've thrown down.

Since I'm an old bastard I haven't been in a fight in almost two decades. I used to scrape a lot when I was a young & dumb. I never knocked anyone out but I did break some steroid boy beast's jaw back in the day. I made a smartass remark to the guy after he got thrown out of the club. The monster grabbed by the back of my neck picked me up, slammed me on the ground & was probably going to kick my ass. My buddy had ran to help but was being held back by bouncers. Dude turned towards my pal & took a poke at him. In that moment I jumped up & crushed him w/ a vicious uppercut. After the loud crack the whole bar cheered. He staggered mumbled something & walked off. I went back in the whole place was patting & rubbing my back congratulating me. I felt like I was going to Disney World......HA HA HA. One of my buddies knew the guy & told me later I broke his jaw in 2 places. Since the guy lived in a few towns over I made a point of avoiding High Point parties for a few years after that....HeHee Sorry bout the glory days reminiscing. Adios

Whatever smartass. Thanks but I'd rather get my cardio blading the shore line in S FLA. All the hotties in bikinis keep me motivated. Otherwise 50 push ups every morning has kept me toned enough. If I could only get inspired to do some sit ups.....Oh Well
