Cardio is a waste of time, and sometimes even counterproductive. Do weights and only weights. Stay off the carbs, they are poison.

Unless you want to be able to run a couple miles at a time without passing out or stopping and gasping for air like a fat turd.

Ha, well, I made a lifestyle of doing cardio as a teenager so unfortunately at this stage I have a cardio body. There was a while in my late teens and early 20s when I was doing martial arts that I had an excellent balance. I'll definitely try adding more weights. My back, to the right, by my ribs, the muscles hurt like they're hooked on something. Any advice?

That bozo doesn't know what he's talking about. Cardio is key especially if u get into a scrape that turns into a wrestling match. If u run out of steam you're cooked. I've fought muscle bound meatheads that had no wind & made quick work outta em back in the day.

When you do stuff for your back, don’t overload at first without practicing form. Squeeze your lats like you want your shoulder blades to meet. You need to learn to mentally activate the muscle-the only muscles in your body that will self-activate are your biceps.

When your back feels shitty the next day, make sure you’re stretching it out and just keep moving. The day after? More back. The best cure for back is back.
