That's really neat!
I started feeding birds year before last. I had to stop bc I lived in suburbia hell and my neighbor paid exorbitant amounts of money for his grass to be tended twice a month. By the third month I fed the birds I noticed my feed was germinating in his grass... Yikes! I felt terrible and had my husband help me pick it out every time it popped up. I stopped feeding the birds too. But luckily we live in the country now and I don't mind weeds in the grass! I will keep an eye out for "presents" but their presence is nice enough 😊

I heard sunflower seeds only causes no real issues, or peanut "hearts" which definitely cannot germinate.
