So the population changed over the course of 147 years. Hell your start date wasn't very far off from the Civil war (1861-1865). I'm not big on the import labor idea but even with that shit changes over time, the fact that the same turkey plant is still there is fucking amazing.

Though obviously this plant has changed ownership at some point as Hormel was founded in 1891, by someone born in 1860 new york, died in LA, though is burried in Minnesota.

If you are going to cherry pick facts at least pick ones that are not that easy to dismiss.

My point would be that while your facts are not wrong they don't support much of anything due to the fact that your date range is so broad. There very well could have been many other changes then white to Somalian during the span of 147 years. Also to blame change over that span of time on Hormel is a pointless argument as Hormel hasn't even existed for that long, the creator of the company was 12 likely still living in new york when your start date came around.

As I said if you are going to cherry pick facts to support something pick ones that won't be dismissed offhand even without my facts about the company you are blaming this on most would be more surprised a plant from 1872 is still around that that the population statistics of the town have changed since them.
