Women should have a firearm and learn how to use it. Your odds of not ending your life cowering in a bathtub with your child will increase exponentially in this type of situation.

A parent who has children to protect and doesn't own a gun or learn to shoot, does not truly love their child.

To be fair some people are pretty stupid. Maybe they realise they'd shoot themselves.

Unlocked doors with big ass dogs behind them. In a town that size they know when someone is out of place. And they all are armed. Bows too as it's a hunting community.

This is a valid point. Up in the whiter-than-snow regions of Wisconsin, door locking is rare for exactly that reason. Everyone hunts, and the locals are better armed than the police.

So he had people over, and she never tried to escape by her own admission for 88 days?

You think a gun would have made a difference?

Get something straight here. Dude immediately shot the father upon opening the door, and then the mother without much pause. Kept the daughter for 88 days without her trying to escape or signal for help.

Then she claims she was hit a few times in the back?

No I ain’t gonna invest in this load of bullshit. There is something way more sinister going on here that needs to be found out.

Edit

I have looked and looked. He never raped, or tried to commit sexual acts with her. So for 88 days he had a 13yo girl that he abducted, and shot her parents, but never did anything sexual with her? If he did they are not charging him with it, and she has not said anything about it either.

She had those Jon Bennet Ramsey photographs and must have been one of those beauty pageant kids. That is a weird group.

the family she is with now sure like to be in the spotlight. They jam their fat faces in every photo.

Cops drove past the killer as he left the Closs residence. They missed a double murder by seconds and never bothered to check the squad dashcam footage.

And he left the house for six hours without chaining her up or even locking her in the basement or anything, just told her to hide under the bed and pushed some totes in front of it? There is either a missing piece to this story or he is the dumbest criminal to ever live.

Edit: In today's world though, I wouldn't really be surprised if he was actually just that dumb.

Whether or not the daughter was a part of the whole thing is, in my mind irrelevant. The mother in this situation didn’t have to die because her daughter was stupid. The attacker wasted enough time telling the mom to put tape over the daughters mouth, and after she did then he shot her. So it’s not like he whipped open the curtain and blasted her in the face. There was time to get a shot off.

They have enough to keep him in jail so that's enough right now. They don't need to force the girl to relive every traumatic thing that happened immediately after getting her back. They will have weeks to charge him with additional crimes as they process evidence and take her statement about what happened during those 88 days in captivity. They have already learned that she was not part of it in any way and hadn't communicated with the kidnapper in anyway until the day that he took her. They have the girl back and the suspect in custody now so it's stupid for you to be spouting off the same theories that people came up with while she was missing when there are actual facts available now.

She's 13 years old, she heard her dad get murdered, and she saw her mom's head blown off with a shotgun right in front of her, it's perfectly reasonable for her to have been scared. She tried to escape twice before she was successful on the third attempt. The guy was unemployed and rarely left the house so it isn't as if she had ample opportunity. This isn't like elizabeth smart where she was there for 9 months partially brainwashed with some degree of freedom and the guy took her out to run errands and shit.

Agreed. The abductions sounds like it was incredibly traumatizing for a little girl, and I'm guessing the threats the guy made to keep her quiet were probably a lot worse than the police report makes them out to be. We might not hear all the details if there was any kind of sexual assault, or about how bad the abuse actually was. It seems like we mostly just have info from the initial police report for now. I'm sure there's a lot more to the story.

So being that it was a female she is not handled with the same skepticism as a male? I mean that is what you are saying.

This whole story says inside job and who says she didn’t want her parents dead? This guy had no criminal record that I can find (I can be corrected on this).

So he goes from stalking to killing two people and Abduction? Yeah it can happen, but it is as rare as fuck that no one connected the dots during the investigation and her disappearance.

The correct course is not to answer the door when a stranger shows up in the middle of the night, be armed and when you do answer the door for someone you don’t know or expect, do so with defense in mind.

To be fair, doing all of that would just have the daughter abducted off the street.

It's a composite image made by taking features from hundreds of real photos. Look at 'Adam Lanza' from Sandy Hoax. He never existed. He is a composite photo. So are both of these characters.

Hoaxing the public is legal under the NDAA provision that Obama signed

The piece of shit was fired from being a cheese-monger. A mother-fucking cheese-monger!

How do you get fired from being a cheese-monger. That's like being fired from your job sitting on the porch to ensure the chair wont randomly fly away.

Who the fuck becomes a cheese-monger and how low do you have to get to be fired from your role as cheese-monger? This guy, that's who.

This is why it's essential to decide how to address threats /before/ you're hiding in a bathtub. If an armed intruder is in your home, you grab the nearest weapon and someone dies.

You dont try to scare them away, you dont try to capture them, you dont try to wound them, you put highly accelerated lead through them. If they're between you and your firearms, go with Plan B and introduce them to the business end of the nearest sword, knife, axe, screwdriver, or freakin clawhammer.

If they were in the bathroom - toilet bowl cleaner will squirt about 3 feet. The label says it’s not good for your eyes.

I was in a 7-11 late one night and honestly thought it was going to be robbed. That was the first time I thought of toilet bowl cleaner. I went and got a bottle and stood behind the guy. (I was 17 and my government said I was too young to carry a gun)

The little girl two blinks older and 70lbs lighter than me, running the register was confused until I explained why I didn’t need it anymore. After that she may have kept a bottle under the counter from then on.

Moral: there are always options. Including death. Sit in denial. Comply with orders. Just like you’re taught in school. See how that works out. Death is indeed an option.

Or for that matter, a toilet tank lid to the head is one round KO.
