The crux of the argument: "it's a male power fantasy because if Batman comics were made to be attractive to women Batman would be a bishonen with big lips. Jacked Chads don't appeal to the female gaze."
For context, we already have on hand a genre of literature specifically designed for sex appeal to straight women: romance novels. This implies an obvious question: "what do the male stars of romance novels look like?"
Wait, all the romance novel covers have powerful men with strong jawlines and large, very prominent muscles? No big lips, big eyes, or "built for dexterity?" And the female protagonists are svelte, pretty women who aren't big and muscular? Gee willikers, someone needs to tell Harlequin Press that they aren't actually doing a good job marketing to straight women, the cover art is clearly a male power fantasy! It's not like jacked guys get attention from women or anything. Also, the novels and their covers feature attractive female protagonists which the reader is supposed to fantasize about being, and everyone knows only filthy autogynephilic men have fantasies about being a sexy woman, real wymyn don't have embodiment or projection fantasies, Ray Blanchard said so!
