Wait up: "Patreon does not grant refunds because transactions are between patrons and creators.*

Reach out to the creator for a refund regardless of the situation.

If you support a creator on a monthly basis, your pledge is renewed on the 1st of every month. You'll need to delete your pledge prior to the 1st of the next month if you want to avoid the next month's charge.

Since Patreon only provides the venue upon which transactions between users are made, we do not issue refunds on behalf of creators. If a patron would like to request a refund, they will need to contact the creator in order to do so.

Creators can issue refunds from their Relationship Manager after looking up the patron by name. The three most recent payments will also be listed. Click refund next to the payment.

If a creator wishes to issue a refund, but is having difficulty in doing so, they can reach out to us for assistance as well.

definitely.

I imagine if you're using a stolen cc that isn't registered yet, she'd lose the money. Porn girls don't attract the best people and shouldn't complain about what the worst people do.

Someone could easily chargeback through their Credit Card company. If they know what to say to their bank representative they are virtually guaranteed to get a refund.

I'm pretty sure I can charge back on my credit card a transaction up to 3 months old. I never tried one older than that. But they barely ask me anything and just give me the money instantly.

Wow, a whore who did nothing other than talk to a camera, that could get men to give her the attention and also money that she wanted.

But oh these are great news, and if each and every guy who donated to these creatures refunded, that would be a sight to behold!

OK. So who the fuck is this "girl."

Apparently she was banned from twitch for selling lewd snapchats. In other words she is at best a low grade porn camwhore. I suspect at worst she is leading men on with the expectation of sex, or might just be a full out prostitute.

https://www.reddit.com/r/LivestreamFail/comments/7tcia9/emmia_banned_for_porn/

That amount her patreon is in debt for comes out to $390/month. What do you think this guy was expecting for $390+/month. He was surely paying more and that just shows her net deficit.

She also knew ahead of time that Patreon was not going to let her operate her porn business for long.

https://i.imgur.com/TFx4jzs.png

It is also alleged that she sold her old used panties on patreon. https://www.reddit.com/r/LivestreamFail/comments/7tcia9/emmia_banned_for_porn/dtcaw58/

I believe this is her regularly posting under r/streamersgonewild https://www.reddit.com/user/emiyuh

Some of the nudes (NSFW) https://thothub.tv/gmedia-album/emiyuh-emmahdorable/#!

There is probably a lot more out there. But at this point, I think I have confirmed what she is. She is high drama too (big surprise).

I was wondering who this was and why I should care (I'm still wondering why I should care) but I see that she is just an F-grade whore. (F for fail)

because twitter totally follows a set of just rules on a suspension, and credit card companies don't like to abuse there weird perverse power over online transactions. I feel like I'm white knighting and really know jack shit about this person, but this sounds too much like the sort of thing that's been happening to alt right groups. Then again I suppose at this point anyone who trusts these services after they've proven themselves incapable of doing honest business deserves the raft they're going to be sent down the river on.

Is that actually possible? That seems like a massive design flaw...

It does seem like a massive design flaw. Surely once the transaction has been completed there are no refunds? She's an idiot for not cashing out sooner to be honest as well.

I have no idea how it works. Maybe she did some scam and the supporter(s) were able to prove it.

Well, thats funny. However it should not be legal to just refund payment for a service at any point in time in the endless future. 7 months is too long to be able to refund.

She did essentially lead him on and con him into giving her money. He should know better but it’s still fucked up that this is a viable business model for these women.

Unfortunately, this is the grey area of the free market. If they can make money talking to people in front of a camera then it is a legitimate business. The only illegitimate business is one that is subsidized by government or one that has its competitors regulated out of existence. In theory she has every right to legal protection from whatever jurisdiction of consumer/small business legislation is applicable. The service rendered is that she sat in front of a camera, she was paid, she has now been stolen from to some degree.

Bullshit. Unless he's got real mental issues he made a decision to spend his money. Nothing about that should ever be illegal. You are right in that he should of just got a whole(s). Paying for attention is even worse than paying for sex though.

Very much so. That said, I dont think that is substantiated in the refund
