I dunno, man. That was pretty spectacular. I might even get behind an all-female racing league. I bet it would be chock full of high-speed crashes and period-fueled track rage beatings. The problem would be rebuilding all the cars and track in time for the next race.

Would be interesting to see the initial cause. There doesn't seem to have been any braking at all. Was there a brake failure?, how did she end up going full speed in reverse?
There was a crash in the straight at full speed that broke her front suspension. When she went to brake the car spun because one front wheel was not touching the ground at all. I'm not sure it was even attached at that point. That leaves the car sliding on it's belly a smooth piece of sheet metal. She also went up the sloped curb onto the raised area and then ramped over another car going into the turn.
I have not seen video of the initial crash but nothing that happened in the turn has anything to do with her as a driver. Everything that mattered happened in the straight.
Most formula car racers grow up on go carts, which also have open wheels - no sheet metal around the tires. The kid racers grow up knowing that two pairs of VERY sticky racing tires must never come in contact. If yours touch those of the car next to you, the car behind is launched up and forward... instantly and violently.
Nobody should reach Formula 3 without that lesson firmly etched into their brain. The video shows the results clearly and dramatically.
This incident was affirmative action in action. To score points for promoting a woman into their driver's seat, they moved her up before she was ready ... short circuited her trip to the big circuits. Dang lucky they didn't kill her.

Just use mommy cars man.
Put them in any modern "SUV". Hell let them pick one out. Then let the show begin.

Yeah the only way that happened would have been her accelerating while everyone in front of her was braking.
