We don't know what is below us because humanity has only dug 8 miles. The cola ultra deep mine.

Maybe there is no edge?

Admiral Byrd on his expedition to the Antarctic stated there was massive amounts of land beyond the "pole".

People say there is no edge to the cosmos and nobody bats an eye though they have never seen it for themselves. Why can't there not be an edge to the plane we live on?

What it comes down to is very wealthy people hiding land for themselves and tricking the rest of the world that what you see is what you get.

Ancient maps depict more land.

I used to think flat earth was a ridiculous psyop. Refused to research it. Finally my engineer friend convinced me to look in to it. Turns out its level and motionless.

We all started out believing in a globe, I say we are the only sane ones because we asked questions and looked into it

I agree with you.

I also look at it from their perspective. Its not their faults. They are basically psychological abuse victims whom don't know any better.

Its kind of like the Russia hoax. If they hear enough times that Russia stole the election, then they forget that his name was Seth Rich and he leaked the emails.

To figure out the truth takes time and dedication and an open mind. Those three things together are hard to come by.

Yeah, but you're just going north again <facepalm>

Source? Crackpots on youtube don't count.

With the warning "here be dragons".

I wouldn't doubt the friend getting them into this being an engineer. the title implies them being smart so others following them and wanting to believe what they say. My experience is don't trust them outside of their specific area and even then some are still morons.

Clearly you never have spent time researching it. You can tell by your ignorance. But that is okay. Some people die believing everything they are told, one of them being that they are spinning hundreds of thousands of miles per hour.

And that is okay.

Ignorance is bliss.

the theory of there being land beyond the pole works just fine with any map map as it is just one point on it same as your house is one point any approach on that one point will find something beyond it. round simply allow this to continue one infinitely as you circle it.

So the reason we haven't expanded a map in a long time is the wealthy are hoarding it and stopping anyone from being able to see it?

Well your not disproving my opinions of the engineers I have met.

Yes. Nobody travels across Antarctica. People have been arrested when they try to explore. Look in to the rules of the Antarctic treaty.
