Hey there everyone I'm one of the r/conspiracy users and I'm sorry for the huge influx you're about to get but wanted to thank everyone here for the hard work you've put it to creating a legitimate alternative.

[–] Artofchoke 0 points 209 points (+209|-0) ago

We welcome you guys,. Crudely, perhaps, but we do! ♡

[–] Ingy2012 1 points 133 points (+134|-1) ago

Thank you so much! I can only imagine how annoying it is to those of you who have been here for awhile but maybe this us the start of something bigger. I hope I can help contribute!

[–] Charlie360 1 points 112 points (+113|-1) ago

So grateful to be here! Glad this info is getting out so we can continue

[–] BestowFlower1Crown 0 points 108 points (+108|-0) ago

Buaahahaha...and we came in like a herd of buffalo!

[–] Rainy-Day-Dream 1 points 57 points (+58|-1) ago

welcome is a strong word

[–] MrPim 1 points 60 points (+61|-1) ago

Was r/conspiracy banned? There have been a few this time and I've lost track

[–] furiousg3orge 1 points 73 points (+74|-1) ago

Yup, they are pretty sure they are on the chopping block. I checked there before I came here. Between the crayon chewing Q haters and the limp wristed soy boys it's a mess over there.

[–] Ingy2012 0 points 53 points (+53|-0) ago

Not yet but there is talk of it.

[–] BillyBobBoJangles 0 points 32 points (+32|-0) ago

Even if it's not, it has always been heavily censored.

[–] Rainy-Day-Dream 0 points 32 points (+32|-0) ago

they had some issue a while ago but I forget the details

[–] cthulian_axioms 1 points 44 points (+45|-1) ago  (edited ago)

Fucking hell, did those cucks ban /r/conspiracy? It's a bold strategy, Cotton -- let's see if it pays off.

[–] FindingTruth 0 points 22 points (+22|-0) ago

r/conspiracy has been compromised for a while now. It has become more clear the last 6 months or so. Even the Donald forum there is going down the same road.

[–] Agrianian_Javelineer 0 points 17 points (+17|-0) ago

No its still up.

[–] DonD 0 points 12 points (+12|-0) ago

They won't ban /r/conspiracy, it's a HONEYPOT.

[–] [deleted] 3 points 39 points (+42|-3) ago

[–] ideologicidal 2 points 26 points (+28|-2) ago

Naaah, this herd of sheeple got too unruly to (((shepherd))). We're in the wilderness now.

[–] dacka-from-oz 1 points 22 points (+23|-1) ago

Not necessarily invited per se, more like pushed out. Pricks. But thanks for the welcome :)

[–] gabara 6 points 10 points (+16|-6) ago  (edited ago)

It was @Freshmeat.

[–] thejewish3 0 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago  (edited ago)

As a matter of fact.... Yes! lol

[–] LostandFound 0 points 140 points (+140|-0) ago

Old question but by any chance we can support you in some way? Appreciate taking money for running an 'edgy' site has its own complications.

[–] Skeeterdo 1 points 91 points (+92|-1) ago  (edited ago)

My understanding is the funding for the site was removed?? By credit companies or something?? Someone else can offer more insight.

Pretty sure there's a bitcoin donation but I don't remember how to access it.

Edit: every resource this site had was attacked and removed nefariously. Same goes for slimgur. Slimg. It's been a wild ride here.

[–] go1dfish 0 points 101 points (+101|-0) ago

The censors at Reddit aren’t content to curate their own experience.

They want to deplatform people; so they attack sites that support free speech through campaigns against advertisers and payment processors.

[–] HST 0 points 66 points (+66|-0) ago

Yea I don't know if that wallet is still active, but all the payment processing companies (think PayPal) have rejected voat.

Last I heard there was an "angel donor" who put a ton of money into voat. But that was at least a year and a couple months ago.. Right after we almost went bankrupt.

[–] LostandFound 0 points 28 points (+28|-0) ago  (edited ago)

I understand theres no way to currently give donation, dont even have an address to post some cash!

[–] Hmmm 0 points 25 points (+25|-0) ago

I can pay in crypto.

[–] gabara 9 points 52 points (+61|-9) ago

What if you had to buy downvotes to spend?

[–] Wowbagger 1 points 48 points (+49|-1) ago

The problem isn't a lack of ways to make money but rather the inability to accept money through payment processors. We've basically been blackballed from the most common ways to process digital payment.

[–] LostandFound 4 points 43 points (+47|-4) ago

Shiit man you could keep the site running solo in that case. Gabara takes one for the team, nice

[–] Ingy2012 1 points 27 points (+28|-1) ago

I actually really like this idea.

[–] kneo24 1 points 23 points (+24|-1) ago

How much per downvoat?

[–] EndTheFed2 2 points 21 points (+23|-2) ago

How much is it to run voat monthly?

[–] Honey_Pot 1 points 21 points (+22|-1) ago

500 shekels, but for you, I can do 350.

[–] matthew-- 1 points 1 points (+2|-1) ago

[–] l_voated_today 0 points 16 points (+16|-0) ago  (edited ago)

To piggyback, I not big on handing away money but I would be interested in paying to run some more advertisements.

[–] OneHotLilPotato 4 points 112 points (+116|-4) ago

never thought id make a voat account but here we are. does anyone else realize how big the implications of this are? Reddit is willing to lose alot of its user base just to push an agenda. They really are out to get us.

[–] SGM11Z 7 points 106 points (+113|-7) ago

Obviously, Reddit doesn't care. You can cancel your WaPo subscription too, and they won't care ether. Neither does Nike or Dick's sporting goods, or really anyone. Welcome to the new world order where you don't matter and they don't care....which WHY WE ELECTED DONALD TRUMP!!! Keep it up dummies....

[–] Manxdude 0 points 12 points (+12|-0) ago

In the words of the late great George Carlin... “It’s a big club and you ain’t in it”

[–] Clinker 0 points 9 points (+9|-0) ago

Starbucks, NFL, ESPN and now Levi's just don't care about business any more. Google/YouTube doesn't care about revenue. It's pretty amazing.

[–] shrink 0 points 52 points (+52|-0) ago

This is not exactly surprising, we've all known this would happen for a long time. TPTB are perfectly okay with burning money at a loss if it means pushing the propaganda and/or controlling the narrative and information. It isn't just plebbit, either, it's big tech as a whole, and the reasons for (((why this is the case))) will become evident if you don't already know.

[–] Dark_Shroud 0 points 51 points (+51|-0) ago

Reddit peaked in 2014, bots and scripts have been holding the site together since then. It's why they hide most of the site data. It probably also drives them insane that the Donald Trump sub is still the one of the most active large subs on the site. Because most of us have litterally been quarantined from a good portion of the site by auto-banning scripts just for posting in the Donald.

If you're looking for some alt subs I might be able to help, just ask.

[–] AlphaOmega 0 points 26 points (+26|-0) ago

I’ve always thought that the actual population of organic users has dropped and any increase in users/activities were either bots or paid shills.

I think what happened is PAC’s and political billionaires started covering Reddit’s losses and making them look profitable. This has radicalized any left leaning organic users on the site, basically turning them into repeater bots themselves.

[–] binturner 0 points 9 points (+9|-0) ago

I think a lot of trolls and shills invaded. Possibly caused trouble with repeated down votes

[–] Manta537 0 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago

Yep. And /thegreatawakening was on its way to be as large. I joined when there were only a few hundred subscribers (/cbts was still active). I grabbed a screen shot from yesterday morning and there were 71,034 subscribers on tga. We were growing exponentially.

[–] hairybawbag 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

You're probably right. Here's some info I found today after hearing about /r/conspiracy . 2013, Reddit removes blog post saying Eglin Airbase is the most addicted "city". Here's a paper about Eglin being used as part of a program testing the power of online astroturfing/propaganda: http://arxiv.org/pdf/1402.5644.pdf

[–] knightwarrior41 0 points 23 points (+23|-0) ago

soon enough they will be only talking among themselves

[–] MuckeyDuck 1 points 9 points (+10|-1) ago

[–] KarlKek 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

[–] xenoPsychologist 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

will a snackrifice work?

[–] dooob 1 points 68 points (+69|-1) ago

r/GreatAwakening alone had 70k subscribers and who knows how many lurkers. Can voat handle the influx of users?

[–] NoisyCricket 0 points 66 points (+66|-0) ago

Neon Revolt said the real count was almost 300,000 subs. Web traffic says roughly a million viewers.

[–] CarolinaQ 2 points 39 points (+41|-2) ago

[–] DeepPast 4 points 40 points (+44|-4) ago

*297k Q said. Still incredible.

[–] LornaQ 5 points 23 points (+28|-5) ago

Wow... I will follow Q wherever he takes us and all the Q Patriots. Wish we could get $ flowing in to support the good guys here. Soon....

[–] WanderingTaurus 0 points 17 points (+17|-0) ago

Just from r/GreatAwakening? WOW!

[–] MrPim 2 points 26 points (+28|-2) ago

Most won't stay. But that's pretty sizable even in part.

[–] Neskuaxa 0 points 20 points (+20|-0) ago

I'll stick around, some of you goats are pretty cool.

[–] Rainy-Day-Dream 1 points 13 points (+14|-1) ago

[–] Tallest_Skil 6 points 24 points (+30|-6) ago

proud to be among Patriots. F reddiots! GO Q! WWG1WGA

Yeah, about that. You’re not a patriot. You’re a traitor to the republic. You’re a civic nationalist, a zionist, and anti-American in ideology. You’re among patriots, yes. You’re just not one of us.

Think on your sins.

[–] ilovejuices 1 points 9 points (+10|-1) ago

You’re a civic nationalist, a zionist, and anti-American in ideology.

[–] PraiseIPU 0 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago

My head.

[–] steelgnat 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

I think Uncle Sams foot, it's been there for some time now.

[–] lottojdh 1 points 7 points (+8|-1) ago

I had similar problems. In fact, I can't log in with the account I first created (maybe I used too many funky characters in my password), so I've had to come up with a variation to try again. It (the website) seems much more usable than a few hours previously, though, so here's hoping for a calmer experience for future visits.

[–] 77777 3 points 5 points (+8|-3) ago
