Why do you think there's no good, informative content on TV? Because most don't like that stuff, therefore it doesn't bring in ad money. Content financed by advertisements will always end up like this. Same issue with news. Since people have been conditioned to expect content to be free, it's hard to make people give up their work tokens to pay for better content.

I have no problem paying for something that's good as long as there's a way for the money to come out of the company again so I can later buy things. You know, unlike Apple, Amazon and Google for example. The money NEVER comes back out of those companies

Oh, the money does come out of those corporations, it just doesn't leave their (((circle))). Anyway, a change of attitude won't come from them. A somewhat better model can be seen on patreon (and no, I don't mean the social justice activists begging for money), for example. But there's still a lot of work to be done.
