They bought into the careerwoman shtick that colleges were pumping out in the late 80's. They find it bewildering that they're entering their later 50's and have no children or legacy to leave behind. Most of them married multiple times, and are now coasting off of their parent's inheritance with more money than they know what to do with. They take frequent trips all around the world but are confused as to why they're still sad when they get home, and usually drown their doubts in alcohol. They'll willingly bring up that they're childless and mention how they were part of a "movement", too bad they didn't realize where they would end up.
