Interesting find... I decided to screen record it, just in case anyone wants to say it's photoshopped. I dunno. It's 2:30 and I'm bored.

It honestly looks like a parsing error to me, since it switches back to the original autocomplete after a few more letters, otherwise I don't know why it would take such a hard turn trying to autocomplete two vastly different words.

[–] TerrifiedTyphlosion 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Good point, although...is it just an insane coincidence that the suggestions switch to "white"?

[–] viperguy 3 points 1 points (+4|-3) ago

NOT TRUE! For me if i type the ENTIRE phrase as OP did I get NINE nonsense results of swapping "white"

The tenth I get on screen is "rosenstein under investigation"

nine nonsense searches above it swapping him with the term white

I think (((they))) now control duck duck go.

whether duck duck go shoahs facts about Auschwitz or israeli crimes I dont know yet.

A rare comment indeed.

[–] maxoverdrive 4 points 22 points (+26|-4) ago

Because DDG is another Jew engine, which - despite all the reddit cum-sucking posts to the contrary - is actually controlled opposition. Go with Searsx.com instead (if I got that right - not sure, I'm drunk - fucking figure it out, you worthless basement-dwelling assholes....)

[–] skywalker7777 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

[–] praxist 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

It is Searx.me and yes, DuckDuckGo partnered with Yahoo recently. Yahoo likes to build things for the government; recently they built software to allow government agencies to watch Yahoo mail users type their emails in real time. It is just another kike engine.

[–] Kekmet-Peperoni 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago  (edited ago)

I knew something was off with ddg, thanks for confirming, I switched to startpage and was happy with that but I am actually loving searx.me right now. . To my fellow goats I would recommend using multiple engines and not relying on one, maybe make a search engine bookmark folder and add these:- Privacy oriented :- https://searx.me . https://www.startpage.com . https://metager.de/ . https://www.qwant.com/ . . Alternative search engines:- googol.warriordudimanche.net . http://search.yacy.net/ . https://www.gigablast.com/ . http://seeks.org/
Ive found all useful.

[–] 1quickdub 4 points 16 points (+20|-4) ago

holy fuck it's true!

Is there a search engine that doesn't (((suck)))?

[–] matthew-- 0 points 19 points (+19|-0) ago

I'm using searx.me

Seems to be doing OK for now

[–] polkadottedhero 0 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago

I like startpage more than searx, but I use both.

[–] toobaditworks 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago  (edited ago)

Ixquick ftw but startpage is easier to remember

[–] coinphrase 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Startpage is the best for me too. Duck duck go is bogus and basically a wrapper for google.

[–] shadow332 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

yandex.ru

[–] crazy_eyes 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Do you know how to code?

[–] Kekmet-Peperoni 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

you mean like a jquery ? or something?

[–] GazeboCathedral 1 points 12 points (+13|-1) ago  (edited ago)

It doesn't happen until you type "rosenstein un" (fine) then add the "d".

It is a glitch in their algorithm. That is all.

Edit: The google "veterans are" was absolutely true. Then they got heat and they changed it.

Edit 2: I witnessed the google shift. Yey me.

[–] HighEnergyLife 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Edit: The google "veterans are" was absolutely true. Then they got heat and they changed it.

What was that about? I tried searching and it results in some veteran job search feature. Which is suspicious itself because google doesn't care about them, just trying to contaminate search results probably

[–] GazeboCathedral 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

Dude, I am getting gaslit by myself right now. This should not be hard to find.

It was (no joke) ... veterans are ...
entitled
welfare queens

and much more viscous crap, but now I cannot find a reference to it anywhere.

[–] dias17se 0 points 11 points (+11|-0) ago

Someone a few days ago mentioned something about duckduckgo being bought or or its owner being a kike

[–] TerrifiedTyphlosion 0 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago  (edited ago)

Gabriel Weinberg is the name, I think.

There should be a post on 8chan detailing it. Off the top of my head, aside from the fact that he's achoo, I think he was affiliated with some company that was building a database of names and locations.

[–] bitbug 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

[–] ShinyVoater 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

I can't find anything about it being bought out. As for the database, that almost certainly refers to Names Database, a My Space clone.

[–] dunklederf 1 points 0 points (+1|-1) ago

gonna need a source on that buddy.

otherwise this might literally just be a kike-post making bold claims with no sources.

[–] dias17se 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Read the reply to me with the guys name.

Sorry but its true

[–] crazy_eyes 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

The owner been a like his whole life

[–] dunklederf 7 points 6 points (+13|-7) ago

holy shit YOURE ALL RETARDED.

word prediction is a simple algorithms that uses other words as input.

'rosenstein' isn't a word it's trained on, because it's a NAME, a very uncommon one at that. the word predictor tries to figure out what it could be, and it just spat out 'white'

try a bunch of other searches with words that don't exist, and you'll see IT DOES THE SAME FUCKING THING

sometimes, JUST SOMETIMES, it's really just a (((coincidence)))

[–] Norseman 1 points 5 points (+6|-1) ago

ALSO... this shit works on relational words with weight and tries to make a prediction. "Rosenstein" is heavily tied to the word "white" from his relation with the white house.

[–] toobaditworks 1 points 2 points (+3|-1) ago

That makes the most sense.

[–] lord_nougat 2 points 3 points (+5|-2) ago

'rosenstein' isn't a word it's trained on, because it's a NAME, a very uncommon one at that.'

Are you kidding?! There has to be like six million of them!!

[–] Kekmet-Peperoni 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

names like rosenstein dont you mean 6 gozzilion

[–] RicardoBronson 2 points 2 points (+4|-2) ago  (edited ago)

lying shill thinks were too lazy to ACTUALLY TRY IT but you are WRONG I TRIED IT WITH OTHER WORDS THAT DO NOT EXIST AND THIS DID NOT HAPPEN YOU FUCKING SCUM KIKE

[–] StuffThatSandwich 1 points 0 points (+1|-1) ago  (edited ago)

fuck dude UR RIGHT IT'S ACTUALLY A KIKE CONSPIRACY, with the endgame to make people accidentally EDUCATE THEMSELVES ON LEUKONYCHIA INSTEAD OF READING ABOUT A NEWS STORY THAT COULD NOT POSSIBLY BE FURTHER REMOVED FROM LEUKONYCHIA.

holy fuck youre retarded

[–] dunklederf 3 points -1 points (+2|-3) ago

everyone who's not a complete retard like me, is a kike

-you

[–] absurdlyobfuscated 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Predictive algorithms like this work based on a lot of fuzzy and tangentially related data. Sometimes it gets screwed up and doesn't work like you'd expect. Probably more so with less common terms where it doesn't have a good fit and other bad suggestions rank up with the ones that make the most sense. Considering that the replacement only happens for certain parts of the word "under", I really doubt that any kind of deliberate manipulation took place.

[–] EngelbertHumperdinck 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

Allow me to add some fuel to this fire.

reiner horowitz epstein feinstein kissinger rothschild greensburg greenspan peres begin barak

Note: I tried with a handful of gentile surnames and none of them were replaced.

[–] srgmpdns 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

Holy shit... it starts to do that as soon as I get to rosenstein und...
