Thank you for taking the time to post. I actually do want to hear it, but I need some help with the diet part especially. I really enjoy cooking, but I have a hard time with nutrition. My parents were fat, I was not. They were always saying I wasnt eating enough when I most certainly was, I think they were just jealous I was skinny. Mom always told me Id get fat too when I got older, but little did she realize I actually have some self control. I am a small fat but have been losing weight recently, i am 6 feet tall 190 lbs currently, my aim is to hit 170 again. What I need is not even a nutrionist, I know what is and isn't healthy. What I need is a guide, that literally tells me exactly what to cook to be healthy.

I feel as though I have found god but my god has nothing to do with the bible, in fact you can't write god or gods words effectively in my opinion. I want to be a good person for god, and what a good person in gods eyes is defined by god, not the bible. I will never accept a mans translation of gods words. Yes I agree with most things in the bible and strive to live that way, but the bible is not god or gods words. I was going to go get a list of all the books that claim to be gods words and ask how you know the bible is correct, but Ive already made my point so its a waste of time.

Thank you for the prayer as well. Even if I don't believe the same way you do, you are trying to use what you believe to help me.

I’ve tried lots of diets and finally found that an old-fashioned traditional diets works best for me. I try to avoid food that is advertised (usually that’s the packaged and sugary junk) and make most of my meals from scratch when I have time. I eat veggies, whole grains, fruit, meat, eggs, raw milk, and some sugar (more than I should...) and I don’t avoid saturated fat (saturated fat is good for the brain). Before all the diet crazes you can find old cookbooks that have simple wholesome recipes. I have two old Betty Crocker cookbooks, one from 1950 and one from 1960. They are both very good.

I guess I’ll have to beg to differ with you on that. The Bible is the only holy book in the world containing around 2,000 prophecies (depending on how you break them down), with most of them already being clearly and literally fulfilled. No once can convince me that anyone by God Himself could have a book wreitten with that much power. If God can predict the future by inspiring the writing of special men, God has enough power to get His will for me onto paper by the hands of men and can even use translators to get it into my language. Look up William Tyndall, he died to get the Bible into English. If I can’t go to a pure translation of the Bible for truth, I’d just be aimslessly picking and choosing what I wanted to believe.

Sorry, that was longer than I meant to write. :) I wish you the best! We’re all on this journey of life together.
