We have "wild" horses near where I live and those things are nearly domesticated due to people feeding them. They'll come up to you expecting food and allow you to pet them, it would not surprise me if they would allow you to mount them but I wouldn't expect them to know what to do once mounted. They don't really take shit though, I have a herding dog that initially thought they were livestock and was subsequently kicked by them a few times which has lowered his interest in them.
