Watching this show, the main character, Offred: she's a whore. They try to paint her as a victim but even putting the race trading aside, she has a consensual sexual affair with "Nick", Comander Waterford's driver, even though she is married and "loves" her husband.
Next most of these women who are Handmaids were degenerates and amoral, abused drugs, promiscuous... but then they are given the highest possible status a any woman could have, motherhood.
Obviously, the lefty message that motherhood is rape is ever present but it seems to me "Gilead" gets a lot things right, and let's not forget that in the story "Gilead" beat the world's strongest super power: the United States and replaced it.
We need a more traditional society. I am an old goat compared to most of you I bet, in my late 30s, I grew up in the 1980s: things were indeed better. DOn't get me wrong, things were bad too... materialism, Regan closed the asylums, we still had the Jewish problem but the traditional family wasn't under attack, interracial relationships were still considered taboo and looked down on.
I love that that so many Gen Z and older Millennials are conservative and traditional, maybe we still have a hope.
