If you've familiar with any of the 'fiction' works where (((they))) telegraph their intent, the goal is to try to make 'genetically enhanced' humans from artificial wombs, alleviating women of the burden. This has been woven into feminism, humanist, and into futurist platforms since before I was born. 1984, Brave New World, Dialectic of Sex et. al. are more blueprints than fiction, pre-familiarizing the populace with unpopular ideas*. This is why even the ideas present in fictional works are so tightly controlled (re: Gamergate, the Hugo awards/Comicsgate [the gatekeeping mechanism for comics], etc).

*A salesman trying to upsell you an unpopular product (like insurance or a service plan) would call this 'planting the seed'.
