If we ever sign a peace treaty over there, I want to know where to buy them so I can hand them out.

I remember reading somewhere how SK is not exactly thrilled with the idea of reunification, something about dragging a strong economy down to enrich a poor one.

Also, I wonder what a unified Korea would look like..?

Two leaders? One steps down? I can not imagine Kim Jong stepping aside. At the same time I cannot imagine the people of SK even considering for a second being ruled over by the north’s communist regime.

Peace is awesome and today is a very good day, but, I doubt those shirts will have any relevance in reality anytime soon...

Then again, as we have just witnessed, anything is possible.

I expect the first step is to slowly open the North to cell phones and internet. Build lots of factories there. The South would love to outsource some jobs to a spot within driving range, that speaks mostly the same language, that has extremely low wages.

That doesn’t sound like reunification, it sounds like economic opportunism.

I’m trying hard to imagine the political logistics involved in reunification and, well, just can not see it.

A partnership? Okay, I can see that easy. A unified Korea? Not likely....., not without a coup.
