Chill with the shill shit. I'm just posting what I come across and commenting my opinions where I feel the need. This meme, while funny, is a sad reality that repeats itself quite often, thus the relateability. I'm not the first one to post it and I've seen it on Normiebook/Twitt/Reddit before.

If you feel discouraged about shit that's because you're not living the way that you want. A shitpost on Voat shouldn't change your self-image. Demoralization occurs if situations in your own life cause it, which if related to the macro posted then is understandable.

There is a greater message that should be evident: Marriage in the western world is foolish if you're a man. That is not to say that having relationships/children/stability are not admirable goals but willingly placing yourself into a situation where someone else has so much power over you is incredibly unwise. In no other situation does a thought even occur.

Imagine an appliance that can do anything you need it to do: cooking, taking care of children, listening to problems, massages, driving you places, it's a space heater, fixes other appliances, opens jars, and if you're so inclined you can let it attempt to please you sexually. If it ever breaks down its not your fault, if you ever get bored of it no one blames you, if yours is nicer than your friends' they all get jealous and if anything happens to it or you get bored of it or it fails to perform as expected you are compensated and/or provided for for years... until you can find another!

On top of all this it costs you nothing! In fact... although this gets in the way of its other functions, it can even bring in a substantial wage, often more than your own.

Sound like a good deal?

Now... why the fuck do men get married?

Correct. You have power over your woman. I thought that was the obvious answer.

This power is? You can be the shit 24/7 but you can't be on her all day every day. The potential is there regardless of what you do. Even that could be a factor if you're too perfect simply for a change of pace.

I've been arguing the decadence of western civilization since I first got here to voat almost 3 years ago. I am quite certain there are a lot of people here who would agree with the image without understanding the repercussions of accepting it as fact. I mean, there is a MGTOW sub here. They applaud this. The male version of feminism is still cancer.

MGTOW makes the most sense for a man, logically.

Not the incel bullshit, but taking care of yourself and your own interests primarily and not entering into any situation where you don't primarily benefit is unjustifiable.

The decadence of western civilization is because of the demonetization of the value of men and their importance to society in favor of the flighty whims of women.

I don't applaud the "message" of the macro but to deny that it is indicative of a scenario that is all too common in suburbia would be foolish.

Being "selfish" is a symptom of abundance mentality which counter-intuitively attracts all kinds of people into one's life. MGTOW simply seeks an avenue to survive and thrive within the world as it is, instead of dying on the hill of "how it should be."
