Trademark lawsuits from the old ones. The scout manual is copyrighted, but you could always write your own. The scout oath I think would fall closer to a recipe copyright wise, but better to write your own for safety.
EDIT: The initial Scout material is NOT copyrighted due to it's age, however, newer shit written post 1928 or so IS still copyrighted. Copyrights on works derived from older works which have fallen into public domain are a difficult subject and you'd probably still get sued, even though they would have a strong chance of losing.

There was a Sherlock Holmes lawsuit recently that was a huge deal with copyright. And if I remember correctly the public won that case.
But this would be a fight against an active organization and not an estate
