I wonder is FUBAR still around? what is the new version? Frequently Used Begin Applying Repair? I wasn't in the military and it will still always be Fucked Up Beyond All Repair/Recognition, and this is from someone that is mid-thirties.
Yeah, FUBAR and FNG were still in usage, at least in the infantry.
"Tits up" - easy to remember term for which way batteries go in all military equipment. I wonder if the PC side of the house would be allowed to say that though.
Officially no, in the field and unofficially I bet it would hang around. Then again I find it a bit funny worrying about saying something offensive when another part of training is how to shoot to kill a person, and even training with word choices to not think of them as people but as enemy combatants.
