I've found some of the images are intentionally ambiguous, like when you are supposed to select all the hills, but some look like slight mounds and you're wondering what the hell google defines as a hill. Some of the storefronts are ambiguous too especially when they are from other countries.

I generally try to stop using websites that use Google captcha. Obviously can't always get my way.

Take it from me: Using "Google ReCaptcha" makes you a LAZY developer. Google can suck a bag of dicks for this cancer, and all the devs implementing it because they're too tired to implement their own captca, or solve the problem another way are complicit in this cancer.

And then they add the "Now select the new pictures too" crap. When I am on VPN I get them more often and they last longer. Sometimes you wonder if that is on purpose to make me hate VPN.

it's pretty simple. you think you're the only person using that vpn node? there's hundreds of users. that makes the ip look like a robot.

Understood, but there are ways to mark you as OK for a period of time (cookies maybe) instead of hitting you over and over. If captcha is any good then it shouldn't require level after leve repeatedly. Obviously bots can fill out captcha as easily as humans.

It is on purpose. Surely the image captha doesnt need more then a couple of images. Why does it sometimes accept without needing to check images, but only on some sites? Really makes me hmmm.

I have noticed that too.

I went through 20 caphctas the other day just trying to log into an account... its fucking rediculoius.... Now I just say fuck it, I'll do it later. Time of day also effect how aggressive it is.

Google on VPN seemed broken, I give up after 5 or so. I just thought it was a conspiracy feature to prevent VPN searches completely.

Here are tips:

  1. Go slow

  2. Don't click with rhythm (like on a timer)

  3. Make one of your clicks a small drag.

  4. Try tabbing to the captcha and then hitting the spacebar.

I just close out of the webpage if I'm forced to do those. Fuck Google AI.
