Sorry but Chinese capitalism breaks your rules. In some markets in Shenzhen, new employees have to put a security deposit upon hiring, so that you don't screw the company over and expect a paycheck. So minimum wage is actually negative.

There aren't enough of those. We ran into this problem nearly a hundred years ago when machines replaced most farm work. The end result was a collective effort to stop working so hard (the 40 hour workweek). We're due for another correction to address automation.
