I did, even on my part time check. Not a fortune, of course. But enough to add up quite a bit over the year. Baby steps...

Yes about 76$ a month.

So about $19 more a week? Hm.. Maybe I did get it any didn't notice. Gonna look into it. That's not much at all.. but can't complain.

Only $875,342 ...

It matters how your employer manages the withholding. They may not have adjusted to the new tax code yet. My employer adjusted in expectation and I saw about $100/week bump.

A teeny tiny bit, yeah. Combined with my pathetic 3% raise I got it works out to a few hundred more per paycheck, which is nice, if somewhat trivial.

What? A few hundred more per check is a teeny tiny bit? I would've been happy with $200 more a month. Either the amount is so small I don't even notice, or it hasn't gone in for me yet.

My accountant says that next year my tax situation will be where I see the real gains, so I got that going for me, which is nice. A couple extra hundred bux every other week is nice, to be sure, but it's quite trivial all in all. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the awesome tax cuts - I'm just besieged by other, more local taxes, in addition to the taxation of my wife randomly buying stupid shit from catalogues and all that.

Yes, and my mortgage went down due to lesser property tax.
[–] lord_nougat ago
Ouch, so will that reduce your deduction for mortgage interest payments?

Got a $40k bonus in February. Does that count?

Sweet!
I just got mine, but it's just $12k, and that's before taxes, so after it gets raped to bits, it'll probably be more like $7k or so, I expect. Oh well, beats a kick in the teeth.
