Cringy, but she's right. Of course, people can weigh in on whatever they please, but the problem is most people lack critical thinking ability and believe what those with power say -- so when ignorant celebrities weigh in on subjects such as politics or economics, the masses believe, and the effect is almost always damaging.

The absurd part is that celebrities hold social power at all. But I guess that's what we get for having shitty mass media

problem isn't lack of critical thinking ability in 90% of the cases

I agree with you, but I think a part of critical thinking is understanding when knowledge claims are substantiated, which is in the line of knowledge / information itself.

Problem is that most people have 15 mins to one hour a day to get informed and most get their information from CNN, NBC, New york Times, and all the shit outlets promoting the same types of muh diversity, muh russia, muh open open borders, muh equality, muh free trade, muh transfag, muh clinton, muh global warming, and muh jew shit garbage

Yes, propaganda is very effective for many reasons, the masses' lack of available processing time being one of them.

Properly Informed citizenry

Problem is that they are "kept in the dark and fed with shit"

I agree. Expecting serious critical thinking and knowledge seeking from the masses is frankly unrealistic -- they have other shit to deal with than spend time digging into every single claim they are met with; they have a society to run. This is why media have a duty to report responsibly -- Hitler wrote on this very topic. Not only must media be non-foreign-run, they must also be responsible.

Not wrong at all.

And they're going about it the worse way with their platform.

They literally do not represent the black community what so ever. Take away their money and they're nothing.

If you take away Lebron's money he'd still be one of the hardest working people on the planet, with maybe the fastest/strongest body.

This does not make him intelligent, but don't trick yourself into thinking he's only rich in money.

Not sure his “hard work” is applicable anywhere but in one thing, basketball. If you take basketball away he wouldn’t be doing anything.

You're probably right, but I probably wouldn't even come closer to listening to him.

Niggers need to have their vocal cords removed at birth so we don't have to listen to their ignorant babble.
