Fuckers flee awful shit they created, and then they bring with them the exact thoughts and values that got them into trouble, only to start it all over again.

I like to think of it as, "Californian Syndrome," but it certainly predates them.

Archiving is a more effective tool imo.

While the ability to archive comment an submission history per user has been taken from us (Called a "bug" but has yet to be "fixed" to my knowledge), you can still archive an entire post (though you may need to archive individual replies due to collapsing). Archiving prevents accusations of editing.
