Ah, but he doesn't say "don't ask that," he says "it doesn't work that way." As if to imply that the rules are set elsewhere, and he is simply informing. As if "anything" had the implied caveat that anything against the agenda were off limits, and all parties knew that. Because they do, because they're on a script, walking in lock step.
You're right that the terms that I'm using (libertarian socialist) are contradictory in the US but that's a sign of the perversity of American culture, here the term libertarian means the opposite of what it meant to everybody else all through history.
#WhenWordsLoseTheirMeaning
That's a popular line with European "anarchists" -- you know, the ones who agitate for something that isn't anarchy. It's wrong, of course.
Pardon the intrusion but I need to butt in. I have a degree in Linguistics. One of the first things you learn is what defines language. One thing is that words are inherently arbitrary, with no meaning in and of themselves. They become words when a meaning or concept has become..
This was in response to somebody else being called a bigot for saying "I don't give a shit about pronouns." It seems he's very selective about his arbitrary meanings.
The site he linked, curiouscat, is a site made for people to ask an individual questions. It has a larger character count then twitter and twitter integration to automatically tweet out a link to the answer.
I'm guessing the "it doesn't work like that" is referring to the fact that the other guy asked him a question on twitter instead of the other site.
He had the opportunity to say that in his reply, and did not. When asked the same question on Curiout Cat, he simply deflected wth "Great original question. You got me." Another interesting implication in that sarcasm: that he is tired of seeing the question, despite failing to answer it.
Can anyone explain to me why Che is idolized so much? He was a fucking executioner. What greatness did he achieve? What aspect of life did he improve for his people? Why is he practically worshiped as a god by leftists?
Is it just because he looked really pissed off in that famous photo of him? Could it really be THAT shallow? Wearing him on a T-shirt is no different than wearing a T with that photo from Vietnam where that gook is being shot in the head at the moment the photo was taken. That's what Che was into, shooting people in the head. Except he ALWAYS shot them in the BACK OF THE HEAD. He was too much a coward to look them in the eye as he squeezed the trigger. If you're going to do shit like this, at least be brave and stoic about it.
Edit: He also went out like a BITCH. Captured, abused, and then executed in a manner similar to how he executed so many. Justice.
Edit 2: I shouldn't have used that Vietnam photo as an example, because it was a justified execution of a filthy VC shitbag. The photo was used as anti-war propaganda, destroying the innocent executioner's life. "Photographer said he had a lot of sympathy for the shooter and wished he had never published the picture. He felt so bad for Loan that he apologized for having taken the photo at all, admitting, 'The general killed the Vietcong; I killed the general with my camera.'"
he fought against us corporate exploitation of southern american countries, and the cia, who killed him and made him a martyr.
he increased funding to education and agriculture when in power to feed and educate the impoverished. this is why the left likes him. he also left behind lots of guides and other literature useful to his/their cause.
they ignore his flaws because they figure he was against the us deep state so, all gloves are off, do what it takes. other flaws are just 'different culture' much like they give arabs a pass for subjugating women and gays.
i guess they just figure they will change their minds on those subjects over time.
That's right- I had forgotten that the prisoner being executed in that photo was not innocent and the executioner was basically a victim of the out-of-control US media at the time. Will edit, thanks for correction!

words dont go by definitions to them... you say one thing, that is defined as racis, anti semite, ok so those may be accurate... but you get it

Interestingly, this guy recently tweeted about words and meanings, with a quote from Chomsky, of all people:

Being a leftist is about secretly imagining yourself as the executor of everyone who disagrees with you.

Then Che is our guy? He hated niggers and fags, while fighting the deep state. This timeline is getting confusing.

He rebelled against a largely evil and oppressive power structure.
The mistake people make is assuming anyone who fights against something bad must implicitly be good.
[–] green_man 0 points 13 points 13 points (+13|-0) ago
He also hated niggers and probably would have had leroy tortured and executed for looking at him wrong, or for the simple fact that he's a nigger.
