I can say the same about liberalism as well: if all that which should be liberated is now liberated, liberalism will invent things to liberate or liberate things that should not be liberated.

Not at all like the The Republican Party, so expertly shown here as having swapped places with The Democrats around 1900, when an influential Democrat became progressive and suddenly the GOP had nothing to argue about and win votes over. What did they do? Changed views, found some more things to argue about. Is that not a perfect analogy?
