So I listen to NPR sometimes on my commute. It's a break up from my audiobooks and music. It's really my only news option.
They were covering the KY shooting today and decided to emphasize all the school shooting of the year. Two speakers went back and forth with the details on the other 10 shootings for the year, dramaticallyreading off the details.
Want to know why you never heard of the other shootings? Because no one was hit or the shooter killed themselves in public. It was so obviously a scare tactic.
I could just imagine the outrage if someone had done this with terrorist attacks by muslims or the gang violence that goes on every single day in major cities with illegal weapons.
It's both hilarious and sad all at the same time. The fact that people don't regularly see through this charade is really beyond me.
