Come to middle America where you can have a 2500 sq ft house and pay about 2-250 a month for electric and heat. I just got a new furnace/ac last year all electric and that’s what I’m paying running my heat at 72 all day

hm ... well i mean if we are talking about electricity/heat, I pay less than that for a 1,500 sq foot house ... on average id say gas is $70/month (high in winter/low in summer, electricity is maybe $80 ... it's just high in winter, thats when it approaches $300. so you aren't getting it that cheap either
overall, even what you are paying is a ripoff outside of the anglo-saxon world of US, Canada, Australia. its cheaper everywhere else even france/germany/spain/etc
