I guess the end goal is that you'll learn not to idolize what you know to be imperfect, the un-pure.
I feel the same way. There are people in this world that worship money....and success. All of that doesn't last forever. And the prices that they pay with their character, I've come to find are too steep for me.
Do yourself a favor and keep a monthly "satisfaction graph" where you evaluate how well you are doing in the things you consider important in life and target planned improvements . I keep one since i was 25 and overall satisfaction improves as you getting older .
Usually people bite more than they can chew in jobs, relations , finances and so on . Yes sometimes you have to take calculated risks but for one reason or another most persons i know failed into their calculations and are now unhappy .
Some people that have failed can be quite happy. It all has to do with what you take from your failure. I just wish I had been more compassionate to people who were suffering more than I understood at the time.
Once you grow up even more, you'll learn that coveting your neighbors property is a sin. You need to think of them as secretly damaged, because you lack the humility to accept that someone may just be better than you.

When you get even older, you not only will not be jealous of others, you will genuinely wish that the absolute best life imaginable comes to them.
It's not enough to not be jealous, we all need to cheer each other on. (Except politicians, fuck em....) 😃
