No, I don't think I would call it treason. You could make the argument if he made the statement in his official capacity as government official, but it still falls short legally speaking.
I would actually like to see UN troops in the US, because then it would become the US Military's responsibility to KILL THEM. And that would be all sorts of fun. Maybe we can start with a division of trans-sexual canadians.
Hell, if the US military started annihilating the armies of our SO CALLED allies they would do more to fight global terrorism than anything since the Marines stormed the "Halls of Montezuma".
Next up Turkey and Pakistan! AKA ISIS LITE and ISIS TWO.
Just look at what happened when the UN sent its forces to Haiti: they shat in a river, and infected the majority of an entire country with a deadly disease.
Hell even prior to the U.N forces being so "culturally vibrant", they were facilitating and participating in human trafficking, prostitution, and rape networks.
There's a damn move from 2010 about it, "The Whistleblower", which is actually pretty good.

There are already UN troops in the US. The UN even owns land in our country and have bases in those biodiversity zones that they own. UN laws also apply on the property our govt. gave to them.
