Let's call this an "educated" circlejerk.

Thing is: They're not working for 'less than minimum wage'. Their kids are. The only jobs for adults (or anyone, for that matter) are the ones you see posted on light poles... The ones that say, "Work From Home! Call 555-9876", or the "all you need is a computer and an internet connection!"

Fact is, the aliens are working in restaurants, in crop fields and the like where groups are hired all at once for day-work pay, or by-the-job.

You need not look farther than a Chinese or Mexican food restaurant (even some of the "Japanese" restaurants are operated by Chinese) The owners, or core family members are most likely card-holders or naturalized, but many of the "employees" are undocumented. They keep quiet, stay polite to their clientele, and stick to their own so as not to bring any negative attention upon themselves. You'll have a hard time finding a Chinese food restaurant that doesn't offer a discount or a good deal to beat cops or anyone else that is even close to being a member of an enforcement agency.

As for the day work... you should take a look at this video with Steven Crowder for some eye-opening on the topic of figuring out what simple day work can net these folks. And when you do a little math, it's clear that the employers are spending far less and their workers are making far more than their American citizen competitors. If their taxes are reported, it all gets returned to them because the IRS doesn't seem to want to compute their stuff (being non-green card holders and such). Because it's cheaper for the employer, it would be foolish for them to compete against other employers who did this as well; their business wouldn't survive against the competition.

They've cut the tax man out. They've cut the insurance and social security and workman's compensation figures out. And they've cut the lawful American citizens out of the workforce for those areas.

Hilariously, your premise is wrong. Nobody has ever said that a minimum wage is a terrible thing. Nobody has said it doesn't work. But somehow you think that America getting invaded by foreigners who are committing tons of violent crime, using up American resources (hospitals, tax dollars, schools, welfare, etc), and stealing jobs away from Americans is somehow not a problem because they make a couple dollars an hour less?

You're pretty stupid.

I hope you realize that nobody took Bernie seriously enough to care what he talked about. Democrats and Republicans alike knew he wasn't getting the nomination. If you're talking about minimum wage in general, the argument is that raising it to $15 an hour is BAD. Not that minimum wage in general is bad. That's just complete idiocy.

Minimum wage isn't inherently wrong or terrible. People who think that a minimum wage job should be a career are wrong and terrible.

Minimum wage causes inflation.

The illegals make less than minimum wage and send that money back to Mexico, they don't stay here forever. They come in groups and work together to fund their families back home. Then they rotate back and bring a different group in. Their quality of living increases becuse they are abusing the system.

US citizens suffer because they're being hit by inflation and unfair competition for labor not subject to the minimum wage, such as jobs that do not pay by the hour.

Your premise is retarded because you assume every job that exists is only an hourly wage job.
