People are being taken down left and right, many of the (((them))) completely deserving it, but it's NOT going to stop there. SJWs have been pushing the narrative that men are inherently dangerous sexual predators that can't control themselves.
We've reached a critical mass of "elite" guys who have been accused of sexual misconduct which is just strengthening the narrative and further perpetuating women to make accusations. Even if the first wave of accusations are true, the hunt will not stop after those people have been destroyed.
The success of the first wave has shown people that you can destroy someone with an accusation. Proof is not needed and due process is too slow. Even if someone is found innocent in a court of law, they will still have lost their livelihood and had their reputation destroyed.
It will not be long before women use this new unchecked power to destroy people they don't like, regardless if the target has actually committed any crimes. The threat of this is exacerbated by the ever changing and flexible definition of "sexual misconduct."
How long until "He looked at me sexually and made me feel uncomfortable" becomes a fire-able and possibly criminal offense? It WILL happen. You could be staring right past Jane and she could tell HR that you were totally looking at her breasts and sexually assaulting her with your eyes and you will lose your job. No fucking proof needed for this alleged "thought crime."
As with much of modern feminism, the belief that women are infallible and never lie about sexual misconduct is dogmatic. Many of the accusations rest on this ironclad religious like belief in this idea.
The whole spirit of "innocent until proven guilty" and "better that 100 guilty go free least 1 innocent be imprisoned" is thrown out the window in their blood-lust.
I've asked a few of my male and female friends about this and they all seem to have this delusion that it won't get out of hand, that it's just and only the truly bad people are being targeted.
Mark my words, it will get out of hand because this kind of witch hunting is a natural human social phenomenon. It's happened time and time again throughout history.
I think it's quite a quandary because there needs to be a way for the powerless to defend themselves and get justice from the powerful, but at the same time, giving one group a blank check to accuse and destroy another group is just a recipe for disaster.
