Yeah kind of. Arch is hosed in my opinion. Basically they don't really care anymore about keeping it stable and I couldn't get it to run for more then 6 months before some package would hose up something vital to me (like the haskell compiler, how the hell do you fuck up a compiler package).

I was originally looking for archBang since it makes it easy to have the all in one solution for arch setup. Except all the dl pages and wikis are empty. Decided fuck it, let me use the CLI version instead, and its like everything was broken. Back in the days, install worked out of the box, but apparently in VMware i had to set it to EFI mode to get it to run. Bootloader install was succesful but failed over on a reboot. I decided to grab the startup disk in the PARTUUID but when i set it the arch.conf file it kept failing over at start so had to mount the disk manually in emergency shell. Decided fuck it, not using this distro anymore, which is a shame since it was one of the lightest distros for its time. Also why did they decide to integrate systemd? What was wrong with the old system?

You might want to try damn small linux if you're going for lightweight. I haven't actually played with it, but the project has been out for years. Debian based.
