First of all it's a priori. Second, let me quote you:

"It might have been a contributing factor"

So you are open to the idea that the book inspired genocide. Take into consideration that it was a best selling book selling millions of copies and made Hitler quite rich. Clearly there were some steps between Mein Kampf being published and the Holocaust, but the book clearly influenced millions of Germans. The fact that Hitler rose to power shortly thereafter, and the fact that Jews were literally gassed means your defense is well indefensible.

And here we come to the root of the problem.

Uhh no, but it is concerning that you can't seem to acknowledge this, or why antisemitism is bad just like any other form of racism.

First of all it's a priori.

Now you have resorted to correcting typing errors - the sign of someone getting truly desperate. The last resort.

So you are open to the idea that the book inspired genocide.

I said that it might have contributed. Just like the red color of Nazi flags, or the flashy SS uniforms by Hugo Boss, or the fact that Hitler was vegetarian - it might have pleased a lot of folks and made them accept Nazi ways which eventually led to the genocide. Damn those vegetarians!! They caused Holocaust!!! (Your logic)

the book clearly influenced millions of Germans

Yes. But he did not call for genocide of Jews in the book. He did not call for any genocide at all. For that matter, was that Marx or Engels who wrote that the "racial trash" - the Slavs - shall perish in the revolutionary Holocaust? The founding fathers of Marxism were much more vocal about killing people. Bernard Shaw in his public speeches called for mass murder of "useless people" by poison gas. Nothing like that ever was in Mein Kampf, but somehow that silly little book is blamed for all possible horrors.

fact that Hitler rose to power shortly thereafter, and the fact that Jews were literally gassed means your defense is well indefensible.

Excuse me? This is pure bullshit. If anything is "indefensible" then it is these your silly claims. You haven't provided any valid proof of any of your claims. All you come forward with is wishful thinking.

Uhh no, but it is concerning

I am not of your choir, so please excuse me if i do not indulge in your ritual dances, but want to stay reasonable.

the sign of someone getting truly desperate.

Only if I didn't have a retort.

Just like the red color of Nazi flags, or the flashy SS uniforms by Hugo Boss, or the fact that Hitler was vegetarian

Non sequitur. Hitler being a vegetarian doesn't compare to the book that forms the foundation of Nazi philosophy.

Yes. But he did not call for genocide of Jews in the book.

I literally gave you a quote. You said that it was out-of-context, but they did send Jews to a gas chamber, so clearly it was not just a metaphor for WW1.

The founding fathers of Marxism were much more vocal about killing people

No disagreement here. And millions more people perished at their hands. How does this help your point?

Excuse me? This is pure bullshit

I gave you a pretty good explanation of how the publication of Mein Kampf was a cornerstone of the Nazi rise to power. If Mein Kampf wasn't published, it's highly unlikely that the Germans would even know who Hitler was. The Nazis also made a big point to give out the book to as many people as possible. To suggest that the book didn't lead to the Holocaust is delusional. You already admitted that the book contributed to the Holocaust, so I don't even know why you're still arguing.
