Meh, I would rather people type what they want rather than having faggots like you be the Voat police. Free speech, nigger - learn it.

[–] SaltyMango 3 points 56 points (+59|-3) ago

sure, type what you want, but be prepared to be made fun of if you redditard out in the comments.

Those users were getting a decent amount of upvotes. Let to community decide if they want stupid puns.

why? what i hated about reddit wasn't the style, it was the censorship.

[–] OhBlindOne 2 points 33 points (+35|-2) ago

To be fair, he didn't explicitly claim that they couldn't say what they were saying.

OP was exercising his freedom of speech by saying he thinks that people who turn a legitimate political topic into a reddit-style pun-off are idiots.

Truth. It's just a form of shitposting, which i am a fan of.

Tell that to the faggots over at fat people hate. They banned me yesterday for saying fat strippers have to work harder. Gotta ban anything close to fat sympathising instead of just downvoting like normal people. But hey they can have their faggot play place and ruin their subverses with Reddit style censorship all they want.

The philosphy of FPH is directly against that of Voat. The mods are ban happy tyrants.

I actually agree with the concept and having a strong distaste for fats who don't try to better themselves. But I don't post on their sub because the fact that anyone 5lbs overweight gets them stirred up. And I disagree with how they condemn people who are actively trying to lose weight.

Lol, i got banned from there for saying i like chubby girls even though i prefer athletic ones.

[–] nothingproud 1 points 1 points (+2|-1) ago  (edited ago)

I don't know man, you have to play by the rules of each sub in my opinion.

Pretty sure I saw that post by a stripper and you got banned for breaking one of their rules which they enforce religiously. If non-system subs can't run it how they want then that is taking power away from the owners, mods and community.

It would be censorship to force them to change their behavior and not ban for anything. Is their banning over the top sometimes - yeah probably. Do they have a right to do it - in my mind absolutely. If the users there didn't want the rules they would move to a different sub.

In that line of thinking, would you expect to call yourself a Jew and still be allowed in v/nojewsallowed ?

Is this what free speech is about? Reddit tier puns?

[–] middle_path 6 points 33 points (+39|-6) ago

No, it's about people saying what they want regardless of what you think..

[–] Chiefpacman 2 points 22 points (+24|-2) ago

These arguments are always retarded.

1: 'Hey fuck you for saying faggot things!'

2: 'You can't censor me fuck head, fuck you!'

1: 'Oh so you can tell me I can't tell other people they're gay? Fuck your censorship kike'

And repeat.
