I never thought I'd say it, but anime has been overtaken in the race towards degeneracy.

The decline is quite interesting, especially regarding how roles have reversed since the turn of the century. In the old days, most anime actively strove to emulate Western movies and media. A huge part of the 1990's OVA boom was due to Japanese filmmakers resorting to animation, because the Japanese movie industry back then couldn't match the technical polish and special effects of American films and TV. Now in the twenty-first century, the anime industry basically does its own thing and largely targets otaku who really don't give a shit at all about any Western media, while American entertainment has declined to the point of making shitty knock-offs of Japanese anime and horror films.

Damn good argument. Japanese animation is of very high quality.

Eh, a good percentage definitely is but I wouldn't use that as a blanket statement. A LOT of newer anime is conveyor belt bullshit. 70's and 80's anime is gorgeous because it was all hand drawn. Of course, there are exceptions. But most of what people in America watch is honestly trash compared to 20th century anime.

I haven't found one I really like in a while, but it's a entire and rich whole medium unto itself. It would be like having a general opinion on "movies". There's good ones, bad ones, a bunch of genres, ones aimed at children, at adults, crappy sellouts, genius auteurs, big mainstream productions aimed at the general public, niche ones, and so on.

I'm not surprised if many whites like Japanese culture. Pride of own race is an attractive thing, and human subconsciously know that.

Japanese have always been proud of their culture, heritage, and preservation of it. Even Hitler respected the Japanese. Meanwhile modern whites let groid rap took over their music charts...

The opening of the 1987 G.I.Joe movie is some top-notch American animation.
