The airstrike in Syria didn't seem to be much more than a fireworks show. I still wonder why he would do it, though.

To destroy the oil that the CIA funded "rebels" were using.
We all realize the military is fractionalized and that the Army, Navy, Marines, CIA Black Ops, don't all work for the same goals.
Plus to kill the "narrative" that he was "soft on Russia and ISIS"
