Only a few. My wife's exhusband is basically one of the millenials we hate: lazy, parents pay for everything, still lives with parents, won't get a fucking job, won't pay child support, he's basically a nigger in Whiteface.

Not really. My wife's daughter was 5 when I met her and had been separated from her husband for 2 years. If anything I'm the one who cucked him, their divorce hadn't been finalized because he refused to sign the papers.

Well put. Single mothers are a cancer upon society. Stop popping out sex trophies with poor quality men - the outcomes for the children is terrible.

If the original father dies I see no issue with marrying the widow and helping her raise the child. The child needs a father. They should have children together as well, however.

The hierarchy of a single mom goes as follows.

The kid

Her

Her old husband

You.

This is absolutely correct. I know first hand as a step-dad and a step-child.

I just never had anyone tell me the truth before it was too late. A warning to you young men out there don't even sleep with a single mother, their entire purpose is to find a new daddy for their kid(s) and they will trap you.

Imagine all the issues a couple has that can cause problems in the relationship. Now add in a child that will never see you as a true parent and an ex who never goes away. Every sports event, school event or life event that dude is gonna be there trying to cause problems.

And then if you have children of your own with the single mother the weird shit starts. You realize that your child has to compete with this other guy's kid for EVERYTHING, every dime spent on or minute spent with the other child is taken from yours. The other child WILL do everything they can to sabotage your child and there's very little you can do about it. Even the families will start treating the children differently once your child comes into the mix. I've seen it as a child and an adult. The maternal family will treat the new baby like an outsider even though its as much blood as the older child and your family will almost immediately turn on the step-child, regardless of how well they treated them before. Its a strange instinctual thing.

There is absolutely no up-side to being a step-parent.

Unfortunately they do, they can exercise a huge influence in voting patterns for a given region. Its one of the many things Obama capitalized on during his campaign, its the only thing Hilary relied on and stupidly believed she had ever other womans vote too, and its what Trump knew would be the only genuine issue of his campaign which is why he spent a lot of time saying what single mothers didn't want to hear and a lot more time talking about the kind of jobs that used to support and allow stable working class family units to thrive.

A single or unwed man might not care too much about voting, maybe he does maybe he doesn't maybe he's working all day and or hes unemployed and just not interested, maybe hes one of those brow beaten men that isn't allowed differentiate himself from what his girlfriend / sisters / mother / family thinks. Unemployed single mother goes to vote with child in toe, votes with emotional bias for which ever candidate appears to be as emotionally sensitive as they themselves think they are and will provide them with the most amount of support (emotional & financial) possible.

Take a stable married woman whose husband works a 50 hour a week busting his balls to pay for what little they have, that same husband gets passed over for a promotion or raise because the economy is going down while diversity / visa hire who makes his day to day tasks twice as hard as it should be are hired in an instant. She isn't going to vote with an emotional mind shes going to vote for someone that wants her, her family, her children, her husband to succeed with the minimum of interference. She's seen things go badly right as Obama took office, she voted for change and things did change, they got worse for her family but she can't talk about what caused it without fear of being called a racist, worst still she and her husband can't find any kind of support network either private or public that will ease some of their burdens. Those stupid single mother bitches on her facebook, half of which have lil mocha mistakes & the other half latte mistakes, whose personal situations have neither improved or dramatically worsened in the last 8-10 years support a woman almost entirely on nothing but the the grounds that she is a woman while not remembering a single campaign promises and see Trump an evil bigoted hateful stupid man preaching hate because that's what CNN said.

"“I voted for Trump because America has struggled with simple economics and needs a change,”"

(3 hour later thought) I should say this, very sexist of me to not think it is the wife who suffers directly from the infinite imported cheap labor, she might have had a career and aspirations that have suffered from the unlimited import of free labor displacing her.

I don't have a good answer for that. My point is just that generally those types of women are parasitic. Obviously there could be exceptions.

A divorced woman with kids is really difficult and I'd only suggest getting together is IF you have gone through a divorce yourself. Having your own kids or not adds to the equation.

I've seen a couple of guys marry women women with kids and even if the child is a toddler it's just difficult.

A lot depends on the woman and how much she'll allow you to play a father/parent role. If she doesn't want you involved with her kid(s) on that level just don't marry her, you will always be fighting a battle or I hope you just don't give a shit and do your own thing. In which case, why are you with her then???

Interesting. More "a marriage of equals" if both spouses have kids and previous marriages.

[–] WhiteRonin 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Basically, yes. Also, each spouse can understand the other better. I would not recommend a no divorce record guy marrying a divorced woman with kids.

Special cases do exist but in general ... Nope.

However, the opposite doesn't apply since men probably like their kids having a "mother".
