Many of you Voaters are already familiar with the circumstances surrounding the Seth Rich "story".
Is that the proper word for the event around this, story? It is not a case, as law enforcement has apparently given up investigating. It is not a discussion as it is either derided as conspiratorial nonsense or political quackery. What would be a good term for these event that isn't politically charge or biased, this is important as a name can either give legitimacy or bring on derision and dismissal. (looking at you pizzagate).
This story disappeared last year quickly after the event. It should have stayed gone from the media and minds of the people. It was brought back out, and correct me if I'm wrong, by anonymous sources with no real evidence and only circumstantial speculation. It should been gone again with just that. But it remains and has piqued the interest of many, not due the circumstantial evidence, not due to KdC, Assanage, FBIanon, or any other actor involved.
It remains and is gaining steam not for the content, but the backlash and suppression of any question or discussion of the "established story". The economic assault by sponsors of Sean Hannity is really the breaking point for me. The mere mention of this story by a mainstream media figure has resulted in pressure to suppress his questions and discussion of this topic.
USAA claims the dropped their sponsorship because they do not want to be tied to a political discussions. What is political about a murder investigation? It is the job of journalist to ask questions and investigate, that is not political but part and parcel of the job.
My interest is piqued, the suppression of this "conspiracy theory" is comical when you can turn on the History channel or discovery and watched accredited professional discuss big foot and ancient aliens.
TLDR: The fact that asking questions or discussing Seth Rich on any mainstream platform is shut down is what made me take interest.
Edit: I am an idiot and misspell things.
