I know the feels. Whenever I tell people that Santa Claus is real in a very literal sense, Agent Smith always shows up to tell me I'm wrong, but it always reinforces how right I am because of just how many people feel compelled to tell me how wrong I am. It's impeccable logic.

Exactly. Suggesting anybody in the government ever lies about anything (except when it's for our own protection of course) is exactly like believing in Santa Claus. I try to explain this to people and they just look at me like I'm an idiot. It's like that famous saying
