I know several women who buy men's razors for their lower price and better quality. The "pink tax" is a tax on being dumb enough to buy a grooming product based on its color.

Yup. I'm a chick. I use DollarShaveClub where I only pay $3 every two months.

My roommate was dumbfounded when they saw the package and pestered me about how they thought it was "just for men". I took out my white razor and asked why it wasn't functional for females. I know my roommates are morons but... Geeze. I can't believe how people have such little common sense.

Can't you sue them for discrimination? There is a difference between a company setting a price for a product and a shop purposely charging you more just because of your gender.

It's legal to offer a discount to a certain group, but it's not legal to charge a certain group more. Similar to bars that have "ladies nights" to attract women and offer them free admission, a free drink or two, ect.

This retailer is offering a discount to only women. It's still an extremely shitty business practice, but technically legal.

  1. Open nightclub
  2. $50000 admission
  3. 99.99% discount for whites

Yep, I can buy a year's supply of razors off Amazon for like $8.

Sadly though it seems the shave gel I used has had quite the price hike. ($10 for 5oz)

I decided to buy a can of Barbasol to try them out. The standard size bottle for around $1.59 from Walmart or Target lasts a pretty damn long time. Just make sure you have some aftershave if you have sensitive skin.

Funny how they aren't complaining when men must pay a cover charge to go to a club or have to pay higher ticket prices to see a show there. They also seem to be fine with men paying more for auto insurance when women have more accidents per mile driven compared to men. Unlike the women's options to buy less expensive products or use the men's equivalent (if available), men don't get options on these charge differences. The only option we have is to opt out which in the case of insurance is not wise. Where's the outrage there? Feminists, what say you?

Yeah when I watch the videos these various feminists groups put out complaining about the pink tax I just laugh.

Yeah ok bras are "expensive," well than learn to: use an Angel Card, order directly from China, & stop blowing cash on expensive brands that don't last. Women's underwear is cheap as hell. Use men's razors or better yet safety razors. Use Microsoft rewards to earn Amazon gift cards to help cover the rest of your toiletries.

Properly rationalized just like the reasons why there really is no pink tax, but I noticed you didn't touch the other two issues.

One New York City pharmacy is turning the tables on men—charging guys a 7% “man tax” in an effort to highlight pricing discrimination that women routinely face.

Wait, werent the liberals telling me that discrimination is wrong? Now theyre telling me its ok, as long as it targets the right group, can they make up their fucking mind already?

Are the women's razors priced less than the men's at this store? Because I would just buy a woman's razor if it was cheaper. Who gives a shit what color it is and how it is marketed. I just want something cheap that I can shave my legs with.

I look like a man, but I identify as a woman. I certainly hope they aren't transphobic.
