When I was 15, in highschool... I came to ALL of the SJW conclusions on my own, by myself, with NO input, except for a fundamentalist christian family and the internet. I never got to a place where I would ignore an argument. I read everything I could online. At the time, there wasn't much. I always wanted to assimilate every new idea. BUT, I never stopped where the SJWs stopped.. I always listened. 20 years later, I voted for trump. I'm willing to talk to any SJW who can talk and argue. I never understood "being triggered". Can we give leeway to the SJWs who aren't beyond talking? The ones who can read a good argument without leaving the conversation?

Never read the stuff.
Common sense, courtesy, manners and just listening to fellow humans was enough for me. Their base ideas are good but when you counter they go ape shit and that was what red pulled me.
I should have watched the Rand movie when it was Netflix ...

I have yet to watch the "rand movie" as you say. It's on my list.... but... your first statement is what we all need. I will spread it. I hope you continue to also. I was mostly looking for the right words to express it in this place.
Edit: One upvoat, I'd give a hundred or more if I could. Thank you.

I do push that idea of being a good person here a lot. I push it as taking self-responsibility and call out trash since it comes in all colors.
I'm not really religious and tend towards the aethist side but the base 10 commandments without good bring jealous are really good core values. If you can't treat people probably why should they?
I also try to maintain my integrity and doing the right thing 24/7. I don't intentional try to fuck people over or hurt them over. I do mess up and say things I should have thought about first but nobody is perfect. I also don't use that we are imperfect so I'll just try to make it up on Sunday either -- I've been flipped off too many times by people pulling out of churches ...
I've gone on a tangent here but these are part of the values that helped me realize a lot of things when watching other people. Too many people are hypocrites and I'd rather deal with "real" stupid people than people who are being stupid because they feel entitled.
Thanks for the kind words!
