He said specifically during the campaign that we should leave weed up to states whenever he was asked that question. He said he will enforce federal law against illegal immigrants.

Nothing has even happened yet other than Jeff Sessions mentioning he doesn't like the idea of weed being legal. People about the weed issues are kind of freaking out about nothing if you ask me.

But that's what was said during the campaign about both issues. "Let the states decide about weed" and "we will use extreme vetting and enforce the laws on immigration" That's the facts.

Pretty much this. I would add that we want the law and order president but that doesn't mean everyone agrees that the laws we have are good. For this discussion the majority of people want weed legalized. Part of law and order is sometimes changing the law to be in line with what the people want. And that is where OP is having a problem understanding this. He doesn't seem to grasp that people think laws should be updated and that the only option is to enforce draconian laws. There is more to law and order than that.
