What does that have to do with his point? If huge numbers of Iraqis would kill an American on sight, it's very clearly a stupid idea to let them into the country.

You know this is true and that you're going on a non-sequitur. Downvoats will never make you right or fix your butthurt. Only the truth can do that.

Those Iraqis don't hold full, legitimate visas. The order didn't ban just refugees, it included people with green cards. That's a major contract from the US government, issued after an extensive and expensive application process. It's like your landlord breaking your lease, locking you out of your house and telling you no longer have a home for 90 days. It's breaking a contract America had already made with these visa holders.

Did I say something about visas or the fairness of the specifics of the law? I was just raising the issue, that the user I was replying to was ignoring, that it clearly doesn't make sense to allow people into your country who would kill you on sight. If you want to engage with me, answer the question: does it make sense to let people into your country from a population in which a large segment would kill someone from your country on sight?
