They do hire vets but aligning with rapefugees in any way is unforgivable.

Can't expect Trump to do everything, we've all gotta chip in to MAGA!

^^This is really important. Trump can do a ton of stuff, but while the media attacks him and praises the rioters he needs to know that real people are with him. By boycotting companies that can't shut up it will show our power in a very real, very adult way. Children throw tantrums and have no money to spend. Adults don't engage with companies that insult them and have lots of money. They will change their tune if we change our habits.

Good. Can't wait for the first Starbucks to be closed down for fecal matter as they hire more "refugees".

They really don't use toilet paper. Kinda unsanitary.

StarCucks, Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus etc, when will you ass holes learn that political activism leads to financial ruin? Stick to selling shit and making coffee, or not.

The world will be just as fine a place without you.

Investors.

Walmart sells stuff. Walmart has a 50%+ ownership by its founders.

Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus

What did those two companies do? Is there a list somewhere of companies who take political stances one way or the other? For those of us that aren't able to hunt down each and every individual company's stance.

They pulled Ivanka's clothing and jewelry lines after bowing to pressure from the left. Blatantly political and deserving of punishment.

I assume OP is referring to this in regards to Neiman Marcus (article mentions Nordstrom's too).

Interestingly enough, Neiman Marcus rang a bell from previous elections. At one point Sarah Palin spent $75k in campaign contributions on clothes there.

Politics aside, I think that Starbucks really makes absolute shit coffee.

That's why they only really promote their beetus shakes and hot flavoured-corn-syrup drinks. People who drink that swill think they're getting a caffeine boost, not realizing it's actually a sugar high. Fucking McDonald's makes better tasting coffee than Starbucks. McDonald's. There's absolutely no excuse for their garbage-tier blend; I can buy a vacuum-sealed pack of imported Italian coffee from the grocery store that can scat all over Starbucks' mouth, for the cost of a single one of their coffee flavoured milkshakes— and it'd last me two weeks. Two weeks of deliciously homemade espressos, lattes and cappuccinos.

No one who drinks Starbucks coffee regularly, of their own free will, can call themselves a coffee lover; to say that is to spit in the face of tradition that goes back a thousand years, if not longer. If coffee were a bird, it'd be like people trying to convince me to eat some tucan when I know there's a perfectly fine turkey right around the corner. If coffee were pork, it'd be like people drooling over some scraps on a hoof while I'm kicking back, frying up some ribs and bacon.

There is absolutely no reason to ever want to go to Starbucks, aside from the need to bask in the feeling of being a hipstery trend-whore.

I went into Starbucks once about 8-10 years ago. Haven't been back.

The only perk to Starbucks are their coffee drinks/milkshakes. Buying anything plainer than a veni mocha vanilla banana what the fuck ever is pretty much a waste of money. Normal coffee drinks are better bought somewhere else.

Coming form a country where coffee is an essential part of the daily life I cannot but agree. It's shit. Also explains why the only ones you see at Starbucks here are tourists and that we only have 2 starbuck's.

I haven't bought a ps4 because every game was dlc. I mostly play free to play games like Dota or Smite or Rocket league. I've spent more cash in two years in those games than I EVER did on DLC. I also recently bought Aragami. Full game, no DLC necessary. Each individual can make a difference. When I stopped playing play station, it caused another friend to stop. Which in turn caused more friends to stop. Now everyone is on steam playing games worth a shit.

I've been boycotting Chobani for a year now (though to be honest, I prefer Fage anyway) for the exact same reason as people are boycotting Starbucks now. Chobani is still way too popular in the local stores. This can't continue!

I am boycotting starbucks because I don't pay $5 for a cup of coffee. That is nearly a plate of decent lunch.

[–] In_Cog_Nito 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Yeah, I won't pay that much for coffee either. Whenever I did get SB it was just coffee, not a beetus mix.

I quit buying Chobani too. Getting Fage or Siggi's instead has shown me just how f'ing cloyingly sweet Chobani was.

[–] In_Cog_Nito 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Chobani became inedible to me after discovering Fage, though I don't mind a few other brands on occasion. The boycott mainly keeps the wife away as she would occasionally buy it for herself.

Starbucks customers don't drive. They carry messenger bags and use a combination of bike, bus, and foot. An occasional unicycle.

Also maybe Americans should think about becoming less dependent on drugs.

Please, don't exaggerate. A ton of Starbucks clientele is office workers, they just take it to go and don't hang out there.
