This tactic of using a Dead relative or personal tragedy has been used by the regressive's for decades unopposed. Patton Oswald was and is exploiting his wife's death for personal gain. Joe Bidan did the same when his wife died, even lying about the circumstances knowing that no one would call him out. Every time John McCain is called out for undermining national security he pulls the "muh hanoi Hilton" card, even though he crashed five jets and gave classified info to the Vietcong. because people have a "touch of decency" they rarely call out these manipulative tricks, and as a result the establishment exploits our good nature to undermine our self interest.
What we found out from the Trump campaign is that it's OK to call these people out and that they are paper Tigers who disappear as soon as your name their tricks.
No, that's the whole problem. The Trump movement as a whole might as well be Nazis for the way they behave and speak and write. The rot comes from core. You can't have a disgusting individual life Steve Bannon in the presidency and not have it affect how people behave that support him.

Seems a bit extreme. I feel bad for Patton Oswalt, but I wouldn't say that we're all Nazis.
